Link #92 - KEY TO LIFE

Greetings in the name of Jesus.

I’m in the process of recovering from a computer crash which really disrupted our lives over the past couple weeks. So grateful to Jarhed who often helps out on our tec stuff. In any event I’m hoping to get back in the rhythm of a LINK message on Fridays. The other tec issue we are re-introducing is our weekly bible teaching being posted on our youtube channel. In this season of Lent we are excited about the opportunity to get to know Jesus through our SUNDAY WORD gatherings. This week it looks like we will have to deal with a significant winter storm which might make it difficult for some to attend. We hope that having the bible teaching is available on youtube will help keeps us better connected.

This week we will be exploring the “Key to life”. Each of us face many challenges here on earth (Jesus told us that would be the case in John 16:33). But we can have courage, and confidence in this world knowing we have the “key”. What I mean by that is that when we get to the end of our time on earth we will have the exact thing we need. How can you find the “key to life”? Jesus was pretty clear about this stuff. He wants you to have the key to life that you might have encouragement with all you face in this world. We sure hope you will join us on Sunday at 10am, or if you can’t you will check out the lesson on youtube.

Unfortunately I have to end on a rather sad note today. We have learned of the passing of Rawle James. Rawle was a devoted servant at Bloor Central for many years. He worked in the kitchen tirelessly. He did not simply work hard, he worked hard with great joy - always quick with a joke or a laugh. Although we did not see him as much as we used to I found myself very sad today knowing I won’t be running into him for a while. Now, he is one more person I’m looking forward to seeing in heaven.
