Link #93 - Getting to know Jesus.

Greetings in the name of Jesus.

We are getting geared up for another weekend of ministry at Bloor Central. Our community meal (7 ate 9) is where we normally kick off our weekend opening from 4-6:30pm. This week we serve a pasta with a bolognaise sauce (I’m told it is meat sauce) and a Caesar salad. It is always a great time to connect with each other so encourage you to drop by.

On Sunday Karen is going to be teaching on ADULTERY (I thought that word might catch your eye). In fact she is not really teaching on “it”, but we will see how Jesus responds to someone who was caught in “it”. People were often surprised, even offended by how Jesus responded to those who were considered “less”. We are pretty sure you will be surprised as we get to know Jesus through this audio / visual / interactive lesson. The more we get to know Jesus, the better prepared we are for Good Friday / Easter.

Some updates…

First of all we want to congradulate Brian Seguenza who this week receieved his Canadian citizenship. That is certainly good news - now all we need to do is teach Brian how to skate.

On a more somber note we want to offer our condolences to Frank and Tony Del Core as they mourn the loss of their brother Gino. Please remember the whole family as they go through this time of loss.
