Link #26 - Good for the Soul

Greetings in the name of Jesus.

Evertything is getting back into full swing after the Christmas break. The Bloor Central Food Center now has the food bank open Wednesday and Thursday and our Community Meal is being served on Saturday from 4-6pm. This Wednesday January 12 we are looking forward to getting our Zoom Bible Study going for 2022. This year we will be exploring some significant prayers of the Bible. Our focus is on prayer as we prepare to open the first 24/7 prayer room in Toronto. As we put the finishing touches on the room we hope you look forward to having a place in teh city dedicated to prayer.

We continue to provide the Bible teaching from Sunday Word online each week. At this point we continue to meet together at 10am Sunday morning at Bloor Central for our socially distanced Bible study but it is obvious that some people cannot come due to health concerns related to Covid. We hope that for those who can’t come the online Bible teaching is helpful. For those who come it is important for you to know that we do practise social distancing, sanitizing, and wearing masks; however, we do not require people to be vaccinated in order to attend.

This week we look forward to exploring the important role of confession in our prayer life. It has been said that “Confession is good for the soul”. You might be surprised to find out it is really good for a healthy prayer life as well.

Look forward to seeing you Sunday.
