Link #20 - It was the week before Christmas and all through the city…

Greetings in the name of Jesus.

TOY DISTRIBUTION This has been a wonderful weekend of minsitry for Bloor Central. Even with the COVID 19 challenges we managed to run a beautiful toy distribution. It was a great opportunity to connect with families in our community and offer a small symbol of hope. As always, our volunteere and staff served above and beyond expectations. Thank you to all who joined in the effort.

CHRISTMAS KETTLES With 8 sleeps till Christmas we are sprinting to the finish as we seek to raise funds through the Kettle Campaign. As of today we are raised over $20,000 but we are pushing to make $30,000 by Christmas Eve. There are a number of shifts that have not been filled so if anyone has some time to offer over the next week please contact Greg at Greg.Peterson@salvationarmy.ca , or 416-531-8031 (ex 102). All of the money raised is used to fund our services to the community in 2022.

CHRISTMAS SUNDAY This week at “Sunday Word” we are looking forward to Jahred Warkentin sharing the bible lesson with us. Jahred will be sharing from Isaiah 9 and the lesson is called “WHERE THE LIGHT SHINES THROUGH”. In a time of great confusion it seems most appropriate for us to be reminded of the “light” this season is all about. We look forward to seeing you Sunday at 10am.
