Link #173 - NO MORE F.O.M.O.

Greetings in the name of Jesus.

This week at SUNDAY WORD we will be focusing on the last verse of Psalm 23. “I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever”. To state that this simple line contains profound wisdom that can be life changing would be an understatement. The truth David is expressing in this simple line has always been significant to any reader, but in our age its importance is magnified. Never have humans been so desperate to hear this message as in this time of digital power. Constantly we see “others” living life and it can leave us feeling like we are missing out. In fact fear of missing out (F.O.M.O.) can leave us discourage and depressed. But we we can learn to “dwell” as David suggests we can experience such a connection with God we will never deal with F.O.M.O.. This is going to be an exciting week to seek God together and we hope you can join us Sunday morning at 10am.

Please note that although this week is the last lesson we will have on Psalm 23 we do plan to have a week of review on April 28. On that day we are going to try and take a “birds eye view” of the chapter and try to identify those verses most significant to us. We are hoping that everyone will prepare for April 28 by reviewing Psalm 23 and prayerfully considering what verse has been most significant for them. In order to do that we are posting a review of all 13 lessons on you youtube channel. The video will be up on Sunday and will give you opportunity to review and/or catch up on some of the lessons you might have missed. We’re also going to have some fun on April 28 as we apply Psalm 23 to our lives.

Also on April 23 will be our Missions Offering. We will be taking up a special offering that will be used to support the ministry of The Salvation Army in Guinea, West Africa. Please make sure to be preparing for that important event as well.
