Link # 105 - Pentecost

Greetings in the name of Jesus.

Pentecost is a particularly exciting day for Christians around the world. Many consider it the “birth of the Church” which I guess means it is our birthday. Jesus promised that we would receive power when the Holy Spirit came (Acts 1:8), and that is what we found. Power to do all we were created for. It was an incredible promise, and we’ve lived to see it fulfilled in our lives. This Sunday we will not so much be focusing on the historical event of Pentecost as we will be focusing on the ongoing opportunity to experience it for ourselves. Join us Sunday morning at 10am as we will pray for another Pentecost.

Saturday night our community meal will take the form of a BBQ in the parking lot. Our BBQ’s are always a good sign that summer is close. Please feel free to join us for our BBQ from 4-6pm.
